The U.S. economy is primarily a free market economy. A free-market economy is run by supplying and demand, and in the United States, it contains some government rules and regulations. Just like in all free-market economies, both buyers and sellers create their businesses. They generate their own leads, what they want to buy, and what they want to sell. Today there is a huge debate on how much the government should be able to regulate an order for the U.S. economy to succeed. Individuals that want less regulation argue that if you remove government restrictions, the free market will force businesses to protect consumers. This means that the sellers will have to create an affordable price for everyone. Those who do not believe in government regulations do believe that the government causes everyone to cost more money. This issue is poverty. Many believe that without a more socialistic form of government it would be impossible to get rid of poverty. This isn't the case, with a capitalist form of government, it will actually be easier. This article touches heavily on this subject.

I chose to use this picture because it gives a great representation of what a controlled society looks like. Here is the difference between North Korea and South Korea. One is a free market economy and the other is controlled and suppressed by a strong government. This should raise a question in the reader's head. They should start to ask themselves if they really would want this lifestyle.

This meme lightens the mood and pulls out a little bit of a laugh. Although one would never use this in a professional sense, it proves a point that needs to be known.

Indivisuals can break down and understand the difference in no time. Although this is very minimal, it gives the reader broad ideas and helps them better understand the free market economy.
