I chose this news article because it is relevant and touches on a big issue with both free market (capitalism) and socialism. This issue is poverty. Many believe that without a more socialistic form of government it would be impossible to get rid of poverty. This isn't the case, with a capitalist form of government, it will actually be easier. This article touches heavily on this subject.
